Shishi City (石狮市, Shishi shi), a County-level city and a comprehensive reform test zone of Fujian Province, is prominently located in the Gold Triangle of Southern Fujian Province, just between the historical city of Guangzhou and Xiamen Special Economic Zone. Shishi's occupies an area of 160 sq. km with coastline of approximately 67.7 kilometres and a population of 296,000. A well-known garment city in China, Shishi was rewarded the title "China Famous Casual Wear City" by China National Textile Industry Council(CNTIC)and China National Garment Association(CNGA).

  • Not interesting. This is a garment town, and one can buy garments cheaply here. I did have a good pepper steak dinner here.
