The main railway station in Dorchester. It is located at the far west end of the South Western Main Line. Trains head south to Weymouth and northeast to Bornemouth, Southampton and London. The station is separate from West station on the Heart of Wessex line (Weymouth-Bristol) but is not far away from it.
