Lord Venkateswara Temple is one of the famous temple in this town, where the Hindu traditional festivals are celebrated very grandly by the Trustee Sri.M.Ramamurthy and his community people (Maruthuvar Community) particularly the Purattasi Utshavams are very famous and the Gangamma Thiruvizha also very famous one.
