The current image shows the former Westfield Lido which occupied the site. It has now been replaced with the new modern Aquadrome complex. The facilities include a leisure lagoon (including a river with an actual current), a 20m swimming pool, a 25m competition pool, a gym and three flumes.
The flumes consist of the fast Master Blaster (blue), the more sedate Yellow Peril (yellow), and the real highlight which is the Space Bowl (dark green), where riders go down a dark, steep and fast chute before landing in the giant 'bowl' where they travel round in circles several times before dropping through into the deep plunge pool. This has been described of being 'like a spider being sucked into a plughole'
