The Manila Tytana Colleges (formerly Manila Doctors College) is a privately owned and operated educational institution that offers academic degrees & certificate courses related to allied medical services and liberal arts & sciences. MDC was founded in 1975 as the School of Nursing for the Manila Doctors Hospital. The college is operated by the Metrobank Foundation and in the year 2004, MDC's campus was transferred from the City of Manila to Pasay City. As of 2004, its nursing program ranks 46th in the Philippines. And it has a LEVEL II accreditation by Phil. Accrediting Associations of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAASCU).

In 2011, Manila Doctors College opened new business courses - Accountancy, Entrepreneurship, Business Administration with major studies in Business Economics, Financial Management, Marketing Management, Operations Management, Human Resource and Legal Management and transformed into Manila Tytana Colleges, and eventually evolving into a full university.

There are 2 known colleges (College of Nursing (CON), College of Arts and Sciences (CAS)). This building was formally inaugurated on November 2004. This College is a educational counterpart of the Manila Doctors Hospital in United Nations Avenue, Ermita, Manila. This is a good College in a crime-prone area. Their educational Thrusts AKA "6 C's" are to be: Culture-adaptive, Committed, Creative, Competitive advantage, Caring and Competent.
