Adjacent to the Rowe Community Center, Donaldson Park features the only sun-bathing beach in Coconut Creek. The park is named after Helen Donaldson, the City's first City Clerk. A variety of animals frequent the natural setting including deer and raccoons. It opened in 1973, featuring a boat ramp, a man-made beach, a gazebo, large open areas under towering trees, and three separate playgrounds for children of different ages.
