The Maharastra State Tourism run hotel. Room rates around Rs.500/- for a non A/C on double sharing basis. The Rooms are airy and neat with clean sheets, but the bathroom and toilets are in need of maintainence and cleaning.

Hardly 2km (5 minute ride by autorickshaw Rs.5 per person) to the Ajanta Caves Complex entrance.

  • I stayed here for a night for Rs.800/per room with a/c. Nice place to stay.
  • Nice place to make camp at, the evening before visiting the Ajanta Caves the next day. Rooms: Clean Washroom: Could be better Food: Average/ Good Location: 5 minutes by rickshaw from the entrance to the Ajanta Caves If you're feeling adventurous about eating, there is a dhaba down the road after the police station, where you can get hot and tasty local dhaba food at very nominal rates. Perfect after a long day at the caves.
