Dominion Station Condominiums is a condominium community. Managed by the Dominion Station Condominium Owners Association, a Virginia nonstock corporation.

The condominium association has a sharing agreement with the adjacent townhouse association for use of the pool, the clubhouse and the clubhouse playground.

The names of some of the streets within the condominium area and in the adjacent Dominion Station townhouse neighborhood commemorate people associated with the Washington and Old Dominion (W&OD) Railroad and its predecessors (for example, Baggett Terrace, Elkins Terrace, Manning Square, Hutchens Square). Other street names reflect the names of a nearby W&OD Railroad station (Guilford Station Terrace), railroad equipment, personnel, and equipment manufacturers (for example, Whitcomb Square, Iron Horse Terrace, Locomotive Terrace, Caboose Terrace, Box Car Square, Conductor Terrace, Whistling Terrace, Trestle Terrace, Golden Spike Terrace), and of other railroads and their stations (Reading Terrace, Grand Central Terrace, Waterloo Station Square).

The W&OD Railroad's Guilford Station (later Sterling Station) was a short distance north of the nearby intersection of the W&OD Trail and Ruritan Circle, on the west side of the trail.
