Whittleford is a suburb of Nuneaton located approximately 2½ miles (4 km) west of the town centre. It is often considered to be a part of Stockingford, although in recent years a stronger local identity has begun to develop.

The main road through the area is Bucks Hill/Whittleford Road, and indeed the area is often referred to informally as "Bucks Hill".

With the exception of some Victorian/Edwardian terraces in the south of the area and a small inter-war social housing estate (Spinney Lane/Knowles Avenue), most of the housing stock in Whittleford dates from the 1960s onwards. The newest developments, Hawthorn Common and Eliot Mews (both east of Bucks Hill/Whittleford Road) date from the early 2000s.

The area is relatively poorly served in terms of local amenities and public transport – for example, the nearest schools and shops (aside from a few convenience stores) are located in Stockingford.

Prior to the Beeching Axe, the area was home to Stockingford halt, one of four railway stations in Nuneaton.
