Constructed in 1894 - This Victorian-style home was renovated as part of the Trabant University Center project in 1996. The restoration project received "A Better Newark Award" from the city that year. Representative of the style of housing in Newark at the turn of the 20th century, this house is now the home of the Frank and Yetta Chaiken Center for Jewish Studies, which provides a home to the Jewish Studies Program.
