Andoor House is popularly known as 'Kariatt Valappu'or Andoor Vemacha Madam.Members were educated from early days and were forerunner in spreading education and modern outlook in this area.They own Vellavu ALP Scool.A.V Balakrishnan formerly in Indian Navy later joined the School'.A.V.Raghavan was later the HM of the School. He took iniative to start the post office of Kutteyeri.AV Karunakaran served ihe army & participated in both China & Pakistan wars. AVM mambiar was commander in Indian navy. Prof AV Vijayan was Head, PG Dept of Chemistry in Sir Syed college & later Principal of Sir Syed Institute, Taliparamba.He was the founder President of Vikas Reading Room Vellave and now the Patron.
