I'll share a local secret: birria.
Birria is a breakfast food in Mexico. It's shredded beef or goat in a spicy broth, with toppings.
If you walk a couple of blocks up Zaragoza (the street next to Aramburos Supermercado) on the left you will see a little place on the corner called El Terminal, it is across the street from where the old bus station used to be.
They have wonderful birria de res (beef) and it is always packed with locals, they quit serving when they run out, usually about 11:00.
It's served with shredded cabbage, chopped onions, cilantro, radishes, lime and hot corn tortillas. It is incredibly delicious, and a perfect antidote for hangovers..
