Port Mayaca Lock and Spillway is impounded by the Structure 308B and 308C dams on the Saint Lucie Canal River in Martin County, and is used for improved navigation and drinking water purposes. Construction was completed in 1977. It is owned by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and is of earthen construction. Its length is 2880 feet. Maximum discharge is 17000 cubic feet per second.
