Pandav Caves (Pachmarhi)

This is a hillock out of which five caves have been dug-out. Archaeological investigations indicate that the caves may be 2500 years old and made by Buddhist monks. It is a belief among the local people that the Panch-Pandavas(of Mahabharata) resided hear during the van-vas, hence the name Pandav-Caves)
