The Westchester Township History Museum is housed in the Brown Mansion at 700 W. Porter Ave., Chesterton, IN. The 16 room brick home was built in 1885 for George and Charity Brown and is in the Queen Anne style of Victorian domestic architecture. Free tours are offered Wednesday – Sunday, 1 – 5 p.m. or by appointment.
