Mentmore Towers is a large Neo-Renaissance English country house in the village of Mentmore in Buckinghamshire. It takes its name from the village in which it stands, and from its numerous towers and pinnacles.

In the last few years the house has appeared in many films, including Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut (exteriors of the 'Somerton, New York' orgy mansion), Ali G Indahouse, Johnny English, Terry Gilliam's Brazil and The Mummy Returns. In Batman Begins, Mentmore Towers was used as the gothic Wayne Manor. The Spice Girls filmed the video "Goodbye" at the castle. It served as the filming location of the music video to Enya's "Only If..." It also featured prominently in the 1989 film "Slipstream." It also appears in Phillip Kaufman's Marquis de Sade biopic Quills.
