Lakhish (Hebrew: לָכִישׁ) is a moshav in the northern Negev in south-central Israel. Located south-east of Kiryat Gat, if falls under the jurisdiction of Lakhish Regional Council. The moshav was originally founded as a Nahal settlement in 1955, and only later became a moshav.
A large portion of the sustenance for members of the moshav derives from cultivation and sale of grapes. Lakhish is one of the three communities in Israel with the largest number of vineyards; the others are Zikhron Ya'akov and Binyamina.
