This church was the site of the first organizational meeting of the Bartholomew County Historical Society (BCHS) on April 3, 1921. It is one of the oldest buildings in town, but can be seen reflected in the Indiana Bell Switching Center across the street. This shows how Columbus, IN has been able to blend the present with its past both in culture and in architecture.
