Owned by the Santa Monica Mountain Conservancy and managed by the LA Dept. of Parks, this canyon is popular with dog owners and other hikers.
Rumored to have been the estate of Errol Flynn, it was actually once an estate called The Pines and owned by George Huntington Hartford II. Buildings and a Pool Pavilion designed by legendary architect Lloyd Wright were destroyed by fire in 1972.
