Water reservoir in the Beskidy Kysucké, built between 1983-1989, located at an altitude of 545 m above sea level, the reservoir area - 181 hectares. As a result of accumulation of water in the valley was flooded municipalities Bystrzyczki Harvelka and Riečnica and shortest route (No. 520) connecting Kysuce of Orava. The tank is a source of drinking water for part of the district and Zilina Čadca. The area around the tank is a protection zone, closed for recreational purposes.
