Home of the Washington Senators, 1911-1961, originally known as American League Park, National Park, or League Park, razed to make way for Howard University Hospital after the Senators moved to D.C. (now RFK) Stadium. The Senators later moved to Texas to become the Rangers, and the nation's capital was without a Major League Baseball team until the Montreal Expos moved to Washington, D.C. in 2005 to become the Nationals.

  • There are still points of reference from the modern structures to the main aerial shots of the field. The houses in the south of the lot are the same that were behind the right field fence in the pictures of the stadium. The left field bleachers were along 5th St NW, and there was a large parking lot where the front plaza and parking lot are on the west side of the lot. The "H" shaped School of Medicine is also visible in the main picture, behind the third base grandstands.
