Home of the Royals. Actually located in Minnetonka, not Hopkins. Draws students from eastern Minnetonka, Hopkins, western Edina, northern Eden Prairie, western St Louis Park, and southern Plymouth for Grades 10, 11, & 12.

The former Golden Valley High School merged with Hopkins in 1980.

Hopkins has won 6 state championships in boys basketball: 1952, 1953, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2009
