The Roland Island is a French island located in the Indian Ocean, North-Ouest off the Kerguel Islands. It belongs to the Nuageuses Islands.
It is named after the ship Rolland de Kerguelen de Trémarec (but with only one "l") when she came there during her second expedition in 1773.
