Esquel

Esquel is ONE OF THE BEST PLACES IN THE WORLD TO LIVE. There are as yet no traffic lights in town. One can ski the best powder in South America, 20 minutes up the road at"La Hoya". One can catch nice trout in any number of creeks and rivers. Also, Esquel is known by it's runners. There are many cross country runners living here. The drinking water is great. I can't think of anything bad to say about this place. Iglesia Evangelica Bautista is a great place to hear ULTIMATE TRUTH spoken.

  • Esquel is real Patagonia! You have the services of a 40,000-people town, but can still see some baggy-trousered gauchos strolling along its streets. It is the perfect hub to make trips to the Old Patagonian Express steam train, La Hoya ski runs, the fabulous LOS ALERCES National Park. the Welsh-culture area of Trevelin, white-water rafting at Corcovado or Futaleufu, great fly-fishing for trout all around, and much more.
