Designed by noted Atlanta architect John Portman, along with its sister hotel in New York's Times Square. The jaw-dropping atrium is composed of 47 curved wrapping balconies that give a resemblance to a large ribcage. It was featured in Michael Mann's film "Manhunter" and "The Hunger Games" film series.
