  • One of the new upscale places to shop in Wheaton in the 70', 80's, and 90's, the original Woodward & Lothrop had three stories with a full basement all of which were used as sales space. The store originally was built without a restaurant; in the 70's, they tried a cafeteria called the Tiger Lilly and later installed a Restaurant named the Brass Pony.
