Actually a narrow two-lane road, the "boulevard" was beginning of a never-built causeway to the shore. The road is named by locals at "Seven Bridges Rd", although there are only 6 bridges, the 7th was to connect to atlantic city, but workers couldnt build the piers through the soft, salty water.. Several of the bridges are wooden and some are one-way and have traffic lights at each end. It provides easy access to a great sweep of salt marsh, with opportunities for fishing, bird-watching, or just staring at the expanse of grass and water.
