Urban Assault is located at an ex-RAF base, previously known as RAF Upwood. Located around 10 miles from Peterborough, it is easily accessible from the A14 which makes it one of the Midlands most popular skirmish sites. Although the actual site is a lot larger, the playing area is limited to around 20 acres which comprises of over 20 buildings and outhouses, many of which are two storey. Other landmark features include the notorious 'Parade Ground' which serves as the main 'dead zone' and briefing area, along with two Russian made PT76 tanks which saw a fair amount of combat themselves before becoming props in Urban Assaults scenarios. Few other skirmish sites can boast such features.
