  • This is the port where the commercial ferry arrives from the mainland. It is the largest town on the island with a number of pousadas (inns), shops and restaurants. You can get boats to take you to other parts of the island from here.
  • Abraao.. This is the best of the best... I've been travelling to Brazil since 2001, and since I was introduced to Abraao I fell in love with the Island, which is part of Ilha Grande. I strongly suggested it, and it's easy to get to, by taking a boat from Angra dos Reis... It's about 45 minute’s boat ride… and as the previous member commented, the island offers a variety of Pousadas and restaurants, and if you like hiking, you'd find on the island the best mountain the hike...
