water, seaport

Located in Phippsburg, ME, Cape Small Harbor (not to be confused with Small Point Harbor, a rather open cove to northwest) serves as home port for most of the town's lobstering fleet. There is a lobster pound on the western shore at which to sell lobster and buy bait. The harbor is well sheltered and deep, however the 2 approaches to the North are quite shallow, particularly the southern entrance, and particularly at low tide.
