The Back Door Tavern

USA / Pennsylvania / New Brighton /
 restaurant, bar

The Back Door Tavern is a pub style bar in Fallston that caters to a beer-loving crowd. The tavern has a bar on the upper level and a full size family-friendly restaurant on the bottom. The bar crowd is very friendly and is generally made up of average people who especially love a good beer. Service here is good and prices are outstanding considering the breadth of beer selections. There are usually 9 import and micro beers on tap. The Backdoor also serves the only true Pittsburgh Sandwiches in Beaver County.

With over 100 bottled micros and imports, a beer lover should be satisfied for a while. In fact, if you want, the bar keeps a record (your "list") of the beers that you've had. Once you've had a set amount (I believe 88), you get your name engraved on a huge plaque that covers two full walls of the tavern as well as a T-shirt. Many brave men and women have embarked on this quest... only the dedicated have completed it!

Previously "Krkucs" (kerkooks), Dubiously open since before Prohibition (1920). Owned by a Hungarian until 1993, this bar is probably responsible for a large percentage of total Pelinkovac sales.
