Oldest Structure in San Francisco. When built there was only mud roads and empty fields. Part of the original chain of missions built up and down the West Coast. Also included in the place is the modern Mission Dolores Basilica.

Most famously used in Alfred Hitchcock's 1958 thriller 'Vertigo', starring James Stewart and Kim Novak.
