Elite private college preparatory school. Enrolls grades Pre-K through 12. Considered the best co-ed prep school in the region, which is no small feat. While most students are from the area, there is extensive student housing for out-of-towners. It also boasts top-notch equestrian facilities. While it is academically strong, it is known most for it's athletic prowess. It has had a vicious sports rivalry with The Gilman School for decades. McDonogh School has an international exchange program with Seijo Gakuen High School, Tokyo, Japan. Each year two students from Seijo Gakuen High School attend McDonogh School for a year, and McDonogh students attend Seijo Gakuen High School for two weeks every other year.
