Former USMTM Housing Compound (Dhahran)

In August 1991 USMTM Moved to Riyadh and the Third U.S. Army took over the compound under the Command of LTG William G. (Gus) Pagonis. The building shaped like an E was used as billets for higher ranking officers.

  • On the vacant lot to the North of the E shaped building was a hospital (5th MASH) in a Tent City. South of the E-shaped building was the mortuary and other facilities. We played basketball on the court.
