Highest point on AT in Georgia (4,458 feet). Can be accessed via the AT to the east at Neel's Gap, 2.25 miles one way. Another access point is from Lake Winfield Scott Recreation area via the Slaughter Gap trail and AT (approx. 3.5 miles, one way). Lastly, a much more strenuous route via a combination of the Coosa Backcountry Trail and the AT out of Vogel State Park to the north.
