Backpacking supplies for hikers on AT. Originally built by Civilian Conservation Corps in 1937. Only point on the AT where the trail passes through a covered man-made structure. Small hostel on-site for through hikers only. First come, first serve. Mail drop off services for hikers also available. Very helpful staff.
