Riisipere railway station is located in Saue rural municipality, Harju County, on the Keila–Turba railway section. The station has one 100 m long and 550 mm high platform between tracks, which was opened in 2010. The station building, located to the west of the railway, can be reached by a 300 m long road to Riisipere station, which starts from the Riisipere–Nurme highway. Until 2019, Riisipere station was the terminus for electric trains arriving from Tallinn, and since 2004, for all trains heading towards Haapsalu. Due to the gradual restoration of the railway in the direction of Haapsalu, a railway section between Riisipere and Turba was opened in December 2019, extending the existing Riisipere railway line to Turba. The viaduct, over which the Easmäe–Haapsalu–Rohuküla road crosses the railway, is located 800 metres north of the station building. The Vasalemma–Riisipere section of the railway was the last electrified railway section in Estonia; electric trains ran on it from 1981 until the opening of the Riisipere–Turba section.
