The CFLS was established in 1989 as the first Middle School in Sichuan Province with foreign language teaching as its primary characteristic. One of the best schools in Chengdu and Sichuan Province. 600 staff members and about 5800 students aged 13-18 years, ranging 7th grade till 12th grade. Taught: English, French, Japanese, Maths, Chinese, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Politics, History, Geography, Computer, Arts and PE. 100% of CFLS graduates have passed the National College/University Entrance Examinations, about 80-90% of which have successfully been enrolled in key universities. Several students have been enrolled in prestigious foreign Universities with full scholarships (i.e. Yale University, Harvard University,...).
