  Also known as the national glider centre of the Netherlands. Operates three organisations; Stichting Terletse Zweefvliegers (STZ), Glederse Zweefvliegclub (GZC) and the Delftse Stedenten Aeroclub (DSA). Situated on the domains of 'Staats bosbeheer' and is a part of a nature reserve. Due to the limited public accessibility of the area (due to aircraft operations the area is fenced and unaccessible for non flying people) some rare animals take refuge on parts of the airfield. It is for example known that in the middle of the airfield there is a 'Dassenburgt'. The 'Das' is a endangered species.
