Luxembourg-Findel International Airport is Luxembourg's only international airport and is the only airport in the country with a paved runway. It is located 6km away from Luxembourg City.

The airport has two terminals and is completely international as there are no other domestic airports in the country.

Luxair, Luxembourg's international airline and Cargolux, a cargo-only airline, are based out of the airport.

Concerning cargo Luxembourg International Airport is one of the busiest in Europe.

  • This is in fact not Findel but the main offices of Cargolux Airlines and their old hangars (the new hangar is currently being built on the far side of the runway) , the building is the former cargo center (which is now a bit further up north east on the map) The VIP terminal is hosted in this same building aswell as the offices of Swissport (cargo handler)
