There was no temple in the 80's over there. It was just a rock with a painting of Lord Ganesha on it. Slowly people started patronising it and it is now a prominent landmark in Jayanagar 1st & 3rd Block (East). Stands proudly at the corner and every passer-by pays his respects to the Lord without fail.
