  • Let me correct my original comment: "Looking at the condition of the buildings as well as the pier, it would appear this facility is no longer operating. The Austrian company that originally started this company, no longer seems to have an interest in it. In addition the adjacent company, SLHBTC Molasses Storage Terminal, appears to be laying a pipeline to Ferrochrome's pier. Can someone who knows more than I, provide an update that may be more accurate than my assessment which is largely based on the satellite photo and the limited amount of information on the Internet.
