  • Desa Subang Permai - a nice neighborhood of mainly single-storey detached houses with a mosque, Masjid at-Taqwa, within its area. Unfortunately, the area is surrounded on the North by illegally built factories. However, the neighborhood is still very nice and calm, in particular Jalan U6/1 where you can hear birds chirping throughout the day.
  • It is very sad to see the area surrounding the neighborhood... apart from illegal factories and some legalised ones by the previous state admin, the roads within this housing area has become daily routes for heavy vehicles. In 2007, MBSA set up height bars made of hollow steel to stop tall vehicles from entering the area; sadly the lorry drivers just hit the poles and bars, squezed their way through the bars. What to do... hopefully MBSA would fix the damaged bars soon... the damaged one near factory were cut and believed to be sold as scrap metal by u know who...
  • 3nov08 desa subang permai... nice neighborhood, but not the best. perhaps, it's time to make ppl realize that neighbors need to do more to interact, to meet, to share life together. It is a bit sad to see ppl live their own live... kids have no friends to play with. Everybody is busy...
  • seronok lah sekarang!!!jiran2 dah mesra&ramah tapi dekat jln u6/6 je!!iI hope one day the neighbours will share life together, that what I hope for because I'm a desa sbg permai's residents.
  • It is a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood. 98% are single-storey bungalows and the remaining 2% are double-storey bungalows. Neighbours who frequent the mosque (Masjid Taqwa) know that this is a close-knit community. Most people know each other through the mosque community and residents society. The mosque is very active with many family-oriented activities and a lot of knowledge-enhancement classes. These are normally done free-of-charge for the benefits of the residents and nearby neighbourhood residents. Malays, Chinese and Indians live here harmoniously. The facilities are improving a lot with the new elite neighbours at Denai Alam and Bukit Jelutong being only 5 km away.
