monolith, historic landmark, stone/rock feature
Although it is famously known as monolithic construction, it is infact a pile of stone slabs which is visible when viewed closely. It houses the image of Garuda, the bird vehicle of Lord Vishnu. Until recently, the wheels were movable, but are now immobilised to prevent any possible damage to the whole structure.
