Ryonggang-guyŏk (Ryonggang District), Nampho, South Pyongan DPRK
formerly Ryonggang-gun (Ryonggang County), South Phyongan. Ryonggang became part of Nampho 1 March 1980 and was later downgraded from a county to an administrative city district.


Ryonggang District is part of Nampho. Ryonggang has a consistent agriculture, primarily fruit. Ryonggang Apples and Ryonggang Pears which are grown here and shipped to Pyongyang and South Pyongan province, kept for juicing or exported to China.
