  Formerly The Bastion of Communications Research (Bell Labs), now a mere shadow of its former self. Present name is "Alcatel-Lucent". A place with a great history, numerous technology developments, its present occupants have absolutely no road map for the future. Enuf said!

  Long before "its present occupants" began its vastly accelerated slide into mediocrity this once great center of research had already begun to crumble from an enormous surge of internal friction in the form of petty politics and anti-semifinal.
