  • JHILLI,MY BIRTH-PLACE,A REMOTE VILLAGE OF WEST BENGAL,INDIA.I have been growned up at Jhilli with its air&soil.We had a life there with joy & sorrow.For education & livelyhood I stay outside.But when I used to return home,that manasatala,that kaneler par,that mairatala & high school recharged my energy of life.When I took entry into my sweet home,my father,Chanchal Master,welcomed me,"Mithu Eli..." From 01.01.2006 When I return to my home,I do'nt listen to his voice.I feel every where is empty.I try to search him,my father,my beloved father ,where are you?Baba.....MY mother comes with a glass of water wearing a white cloth.My father is no more.We can not forgive those criminals who have murdered my honest,apolitical,thin school-teacher father.We can not forgive those people of Jhilli who have helped the those criminals.I HATE THEM from my heart.Though Jhilli is my birth place,it is also my father's killing place.I hate Jhilli.....
  • I understand your mixed feelings regarding JHILLI. criminals were protected by some politically biased spineless coward of our beloved Jhilli.I also have suffered by one of such politician who purposefully created a problem and demanded a huge compensensation. mentality of general public has changed ,simplicity of villagers has gone .They always try to take the advantages but in return you will get nothing but pain.JHILLI left by me in 1997 has changeda lot.Though I stay at KOlkata ,I have given the address of jhilli in the Birth certificate of my little son, SPANDAN(3 months 16 days). I appreciate your DURGAPUJA ,cloth distribution,grand feast and other activities.
