The institute of technical/Kufa was established in 1980 and its goals are to train technical manpower in different scientific specialties which provide an active role in the
different services because they act as link between higher links in the technical fields.

The character of study in the institute practical and applied subject 70% of weekly teaching hours where the students are involve during there applied subject in different lab and developed workshop. As well as the practical training in different fields to provides the student with the necessary scientific expertise and efficiency at the field work.

The syllabus of the subjects as been over reviewed in order to modernize subject.The institute provide a degree of technical diploma according to specialty involved.
