Eglise Saint-Jean ["St John's Church"] (Listed building) (Caen)

France / Basse-Normandie / Caen / Rue Saint-Jean
church, interesting place, listed building / architectural heritage

Constuction of this church began in the early 14th century and was completed by the late 16th century.

The smaller of the church's two towers (a lantern tower) is unfinished, as the main tower, built on marshy ground, started to lean dangerously to the left during construction.
