This is the only Chinese Primary School in Tenghilan. As I remember it was initiated & begun by the 3 very important Ex & Late Tenghilan Towkays Mr Liew Loi Fatt, Mr Tan Ah Tong & Mr Leong Ming King @Leong Ah Keen once upon a time. My last visit was about a month ago. I hope to revisit again.

  • Knowlege with education is power & is the core of mankind growth, development, civilisation & its evolution. I sincerely request here, someone either in Tenghilan or elsewhere who is/are qualified enough, to drop just a few introduction lines about this Tenghilan Chung Hwa Primary School Brief History. Perhaps there are already some records within the directorship-board of the School. I hope my next visit to Tenghilan I like to bring up this topic to the attention of existing directorship-board of school.
  • Regret I couldn't pay a visit when I last visited Tenghilan due to rush schedule in August this year. Try my blog: < tenghilan.spaces.live.com > Thanks!

  • Where/which is you birth Kampung in Tenghilan? Linsook? I may know you too if you are about the age of Roger Leong or Garabus!
  • I'm about the same age with Roger. The last time I met him was in 1994.
  • I hereby decide to insert some personal & useful data for straightening the overall history of Tenghilan growth & development. 1) The 21st century story:- Plse dive into the website of... http://cid-6eb0a573b75a030f.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!6EB0A573B75A030F!983.entry 2) Sino-Kadazan-Dusun Culture:- January 12 Sino-Kadazan-Dusun Culture SINO-KADAZAN-DUSUN CULTURE (David also added a blog entry 21st Century for easily reference) Basically Sino-Kadazan, Sino-Dusun or Sino-Kadazan/Dusun is the crystal & off-spring of inter-marriage between a Chinese & a local native Kadazan/dusun in Sabah of Eastern Malaysia. What is their culture like is YET to be reinvented creatively or discovered soonest! Can it be 100% Chinese or 100% Kadazan or half-half or in between 0% & 100% or co-existence in parallel or totally nothing at all? Only those Sino-Kadazan/Dusun they themselves are fit to have their own choice volunteerily & comfortably afterall this is of their own interests! Today we are in a tiny global world & what is it actually telling us? Some of my nephews & nieces are Sino-Kadazan/Dusun & I hereby sincerely wish & hope them all the best blessing in their free choice because CULTURES are part & parcel of our humankind civilisations on earth! 3 CHEERS~~~ TO ALL HUMANKIND OF BROTHERHOOD!
  • Happy Chinese Lunar New Year for Y2011. Nobody seems to be interested in this site I suppose!

  • Yes, I am going to write & share something again soonest about Tenghilan history for those who are interested about it. I will do so as according to what I can possibly recall & know with my little knowledge of memory before it is too late as I am ageing fast...!
  • Mangkaotman, where are you now? I am living in Singapore with my whole family as my wife is Singaporean by birth. I hope we can continue our friendship online. Thank you? Roger passed away many years ago due to cancer. Now his elder son is operating the Tenghilan shop left over by our parents.
